As owner and CEO of Jani-One Commercial Cleaning, formerly SBM, I have acquired over

34 years of experience in the Janitorial Industry. I started out with my cleaning company to

make extra money. I always knew I would succeed mostly because I am good at what I do

and have since passed on my knowledge and experience to my many teams, in addition, one

of the most important lessons I learned growing up was the feeling of accomplishment from

working and doing the very best I could. It was slow tarting because I worked at my business

part-time. It was difficult balancing being a mother of three, a full-time job as a surgical

assistant, and learning all I could about the janitorial industry. I worked long hours with grueling

work and for the longest time by myself. I was exhausted but giving up and quitting was and is

not part of my DNA. I knew in order to be successful, I had to give more, worked harder and longer

hours than the competition.

I did work longer and harder and I learned. All my hard work started paying off and I began getting

more and more contracts by word of mouth. Finally, I had the honor of having one of my customers

believe in so much he was single handedly responsible for me getting a huge contract with a

well-known national company. I was grateful this customer saw potential in me and my goals and

fought for me. 

​I had so many people, clients, and friends that encouraged me, and helped me along the way. I

learned so much; how to scrub and strip floors as good as anybody, how to read blueprints in order

to place bids for new high rise construction office towers. I learned the importance of true Customer

Care, Inventory Control, Bidding and carrying out my desire of providing the very best cleaning

services, in addition, facility management. Jani-One Commercial Cleaning is here to stay always

growing with the latest equipment, Environment Friendly products and now moving into Robotic

Cleaning
