With a degree in business, Deborah, has excelled as an entrepreneur and a business leader over a span of forty years. In 1971 Miss Thompkins began, what would be the first of three child care centers in Cobb County. Deborah also has a background in the medical profession, working thirteen years as a surgical assistant. Having a medical background furthers her knowledge of surgical procedures, operating facilities and the sterilization and disinfecting procedures according to OSHA regulations. Having such an extensive, hands in, experience and knowledge in the medical profession is extremely beneficial in Jani-One's facilities management business.

With her strong work ethics, commitment to Customer Care & Customer Satisfaction proves its own track record by twenty nine years in the janitorial industry. At the beginning of every orientation, Deborah passes on her philosophy that to be a success you understand that the customer is always right.
